Mi-O Conservation Zone Intermittent Woodland Pools

Intermittent woodland pools are small ephemeral pools in wooded settings, provide critical breeding and nursery habitat for many amphibians of concern, and support many plants, reptiles, mammals, and birds. Hudsonia considers this to be one of the most imperiled habitat types in the region.  The two southernmost mines are within the conservation zones for woodland pools
