Sign the Petition: No expanded gravel mining in Rhinebeck!
Red Wing has been working on an application since 2008 to expand mining in Rhinebeck. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has declared the application complete and is accepting comment on the application. This petition asks our DEC Region 3 Permit Administrator to deny the permit.
If you care about our communities and the environment then please sign this petition. The Town of Rhinebeck has opposed this endeavor, yet the NYS DEC still has the power to grant a permit. Tell the DEC:
